SUMMARY

Perennial mat-forming herb, decumbent to ascending, much branched at the base, branches pubescent, up to 6 cm long. Leaves, linear-oblong to elliptic, 2-5(-10)x0.5-2.5mm, acute, pubescent, stipules scarious, lanceolate to ovate. Flowers axillary, more or less concealed by the broadly ovate bracts. Sepals unequal, 3mm long, pubescent. Stamens 5, ovary glabrous. Fruit achene, 1-seeded
