General description:

Corrigiola repens ; Polycarpaea fragilis Del
Perennial herb, prostrate, tomentose, branches spreading, root stock woody. Leaves opposite, linear-lanceolate, 3-10 mm long, margins rolled outwards, apex mucronate. Flowers in terminal small densely clustered cymes, bracteate. Sepals 5, ovate-elliptic, 1- 1.5 mm long, scarious margined, midrib green, broad. Petals 5, ovate. Fruit capsule, ovoid, 3-toothed.
