Leafless climbing succulent with fibrous roots; stems stout, much-branched, often rather scarred and knobbly, variegated green and violet, c. 6-10 mm thick. Flowers shortly pedicellate, in small clusters terminal on short lateral branches; corolla 3-6 cm long, with a distinct inflation just below the lobes as well as at the base of the tube, white with puple spots and markings particularly at the apex, the lobes with numerous long, white or purple hairs along the margins, the tips joined.
Specimen: Reported by Lavranos (in Chaudhary, 2001) from Abu-Arish and Collenette (1999) from Wadi Dahan. The above decription is taken from Yemen Flora (J.R.I. Wood, 1997).
