SUMMARY

Annual herb, erect or decumbent, up to 40 cm tall, puberulent to appressed pubescent, Non-glandular. Leaves opposite, oblanceolate to linear-oblanceolate, 2-4.5 x 0.2 - 1.2 cm, apex acute. Inflorescence monochasial cyme with pedicels shorter than the calyx. Calyx 10-veined, veins green to red to purple, 1-1.5 cm long. Petals white to pink, limb bilobed. Fruit capsule, 5-7 mm long. Seeds ear shaped, acutely grooved on the back, outer edges wing-like.
